Packaging Material Handler - 2nd Shift

Coordinates incoming and outgoing movement and storage of raw materials, finished products and parts that include functions such as warehousing, shop and delivery services to ensure material availability and delivery when needed to meet production schedules | Compiles data on order volume, production schedules and forecasts and applies statistical methods to estimate future materials requirements

Requires skills developed through formal training or work experience

Completes assigned tasks with a moderate degree of supervision

Performs manual duties related to shipping, receiving, inspecting, storing, issuing and delivering a variety of materials, equipment and supplies.

Examines incoming shipments for damage or shortages and corresponds with shipper to rectify.

Gathering, verifying, weighing and packing items for shipment according to specifications and the applicable transportation method.

Operates material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks or dollies to move stock or reorganize storage. High School Diploma/GED required and 2-4 years' experience OR Equivalent Combination of Relevant Education &/or Experience

Vocational/Technical Training Degree

Ability to gather and document information. Mechanical knowledge. Requires regular movement throughout GD-OTS facilities.

May be requested to work a different shift.

Travel Requirements
