Production Machinist - Immediate Hire

Now Hiring EDM Machinists!
Produce parts to specification; verify parts meet extremely close tolerance dimensions, alignments, and specifications

Analyze blueprints and engineering drawings to determine part dimensions and cut configurations

Determine type/size of cutting tool according to metal stock on machine fixture

Observe machining of first parts to verify programming accuracy

Work with Manufacturing Engineer to load new programs and set up the machinery to produce highly-precise short-run orders in Wire and sinker EDM equipment

Line up and train machine operators to produce and measure production, where appropriate

Ability to read and interpret complex routers and other required documents

Must be able to work at heights utilizing fall protection equipment (man lifts, ladders, and stand)

Subject to environmental conditions -protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes

Subject to hazards to include a variety of physical conditions, such as proximity to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, electrical current, exposure to high heat or exposure to chemicals

Subject to atmospheric conditions such as fumes, odors, dust, mists, gases, or poor ventilation
