CNC Set-Up Technician Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced CNC Set-Up Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in programming and operating CNC lathes and mills, as well as a thorough understanding of CAD/CAM.
Set up and operate CNC machines according to job specifications
Create and edit CNC programs as needed
Perform regular maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance
Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during the production process
Train and mentor other team members on best practices for CNC machine operation
Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement solutions to increase efficiency and quality
Experience with CNC Milling and CNC Turning
Strong technical skills and mechanical aptitude
Knowledge of G-code programming language
Willingness to work flexible hours as needed
