Rotating daylight and evening shifts between the hours of 7:30 a.m. NO major holidays or overnight shifts required!
Rotating Saturdays (12 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.) and Sundays (10 a.m. The Radiology (Diagnostic, X-Ray) Techs will travel to all locations up to approximately 50% of the time.
Children's North (Wexford), Children's South (Bridgeville), Children's East (Monroeville), Children's West (Moon), Children's Express Care Cranberry (UPMC Lemieux Center), and Children's West Mifflin.
Reviews patient history, assesses physician orders, and documents patient history in electronic record, as required.
Administers PO/enteral and rectal contrast per physician orders.
Ensure exams are coded, tracked, networked, and charged correctly.
Performs diagnostic radiography and other procedures utilizing established protocols/procedures.
Utilizes complex imaging equipment for the acquisition, analysis, and documentation of image data.
Demonstrates the ability to communicate instructions to patients in a clear and concise manner and explain procedures to help allay the patient's fears and solicit their cooperation.
Graduate of an ARRT-approved school of Radiologic Technology or verification from ARRT-approved school of completion of program and scheduled graduation date.
Act 31 Child Abuse Reporting, Act 33, Act 34, and Act 73 FBI Clearance with renewals
