Kitchen Cleaner

This role is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in our kitchen, ensuring that our guests have a pleasant dining experience.

Responsibilities:

Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using the dishwasher or by hand.

Ensure that all dishes and utensils are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized.

Sort and stack clean dishes and utensils in designated storage areas

Assist with the organization and stocking of kitchen supplies and equipment.

Empty trash and recycling bins regularly and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen area.

Clean and sanitize kitchen surfaces, including countertops, sinks, and equipment.

Assist with basic food preparation tasks, such as peeling and chopping vegetables.

Follow all safety and sanitation procedures to maintain a clean and safe working environment.

Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

Assist with other duties as assigned by the kitchen manager.

Requirements:

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain cleanliness and organization.

Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with other kitchen staff members.

Physical stamina and ability to stand for long periods of time.

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Must be at least 16 years old.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand for long periods of time.

Continuously bend, reach, twist and use your hands and arms.

Able to lift 50 pounds at a time.
