Manufacturing Inventory / Material Handler

Material HandleWe are currently hiring a Material Handle for a manufacturing/warehouse environment in Chicago Heights, Illinois. This role is ideal for a reliable and detail-oriented individual with forklift and warehouse experience who can support material flow, shipping, and inventory operations. You will play a key role in ensuring materials are handled safely, accurately, and efficiently to support production and shipping schedules.ResponsibilitiesReceive, store, and distribute materials in designated areasLoad and unload materials and scrap from semi-trailers safelyOperate forklifts and move materials throughout the facilityPick and prepare customer orders accuratelyInspect shipments for quality and accuracyReview shipping documents (BOL, setup sheets, special instructions)Maintain records of incoming and outgoing materialsCoordinate shipments and prioritize urgent ordersResolve issues with vendors or contractors as neededSupport invoice validation and communication with accountingMaintain a clean, safe, and organized work environmentDispose of scrap materials properlyFollow all safety procedures and company policiesRequirementsMinimum 2 years of warehouse and forklift experienceExperience operating forklifts requiredFamiliarity with shipping documents (BOL, etc.)High School Diploma or equivalent requiredStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsBasic math and written communication skillsBasic computer skills (Microsoft Office)Ability to lift up to 55 lbsSafety-oriented mindsetReliable, punctual, and hardworkingBenefitsHealth, dental, and vision insuranceLife insurance401(k) with company matchPaid holidays and vacationCompany-provided mealsReady to join a stable team and grow your career in warehouse operations?
