The Hazelwood, Missouri plant produces a variety of fruit and nut products, including organic and non‑organic items, as well as trail mixes, with annual production of approximately 25 million pounds. The site supports a team of nearly 200 manufacturing and support employees and plays an important role in supplying products to the region.

This position is 2nd shift: Mon-Fri, 3p - 11:30p (with occasional Sat overtime)

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of facility machinery, building infrastructure, and operation support.

Repair mechanical/electrical issues of facility machinery as requested by the maintenance manager/supervisor on a daily basis.

Improve the functioning of the machinery by making mechanical adjustments and performing preventative maintenance.

Perform basic building maintenance and repairs including, but not limited to drywall repairs, painting, and any other such type of activities that may arise from time to time.

Complete daily maintenance work orders and deliver them to the maintenance supervisor/coordinator.

Clean and maintain work area after mechanical work has been performed on a daily basis.

Minimum of two (2) years of technical/mechanical experience in Food Production preferred.

Familiarity with GMPs and work in a food safe environment preferred.

Mechanical, Hydraulic, Pneumatic systems and Control System knowledge preferred.

Experience with High-Speed Packaging Machinery and industrial electrical PLC is a plus.

Positive, proactive and self-motivated with leadership qualities.

Bi-lingual/Spanish speaking is a plus.

Previous experience with Microsoft Office, CMMS (Computer Maintenance Management System) is a plus.
