Registered Nurse Physician Care

Arizona Digestive Institute is hiring a PreOp/PACU RN to provide continuity and quality nursing care for patients undergoing outpatient digestive procedures in a certified surgical center. Compensation includes a $7,500 sign‑on bonus.

Responsibilities
Provide continuity and quality nursing care for all patients, including continual evaluation of patient condition, patient safety, comfort, and privacy. Assist physicians in procedure rooms with various tasks such as conscious sedation and sterile techniques. Provide total comprehensive patient care to patients emerging from general anesthesia and/or sedation, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the patient and family in preparation for discharge.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing

Active RN license in the state

BLS and ACLS required; PALS if required by the center

2 years of experience in PACU or Critical Care preferred

Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment

Ability to prioritize and organize workload to meet patient and unit needs

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
