Drug And Alcohol Counselor - ABH - Pennsylvania
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Drug and Alcohol Counselor to join our team. The successful candidate will provide counseling services to individuals struggling with substance abuse, develop treatment plans, and support clients through their recovery journey. This role requires strong interpersonal skills, cultural competence, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:

Assess clients' needs and develop individualized treatment plans
Conduct counseling sessions in accordance with state guidelines and best practices
Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of client progress
Collaborate with healthcare providers, families, and community resources
Participate in team meetings and ongoing training
Qualifications:

Valid certification or licensure as a Drug and Alcohol Counselor (e.g., CADC, CAC, or equivalent)
Prior experience in substance abuse counseling preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards
