Network EngineerPeraton is seeking a Network Engineer to perform as an implementor for leading edge information technologies and methodologies to join our dynamic team in the Annapolis Junction, MD area. Our team provides full spectrum network connectivity including architecture, engineering, development, integration, deployment, configuration management, project management and network security services to the global enterprise, as well as systems and cloud engineering services for application modernization and transition of legacy applications into hybrid cloud platforms.QualificationsMinimum of 12 years of IT related experience with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, or related discipline is required. Fifteen (15) years total of IT related experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's degree. Network troubleshooting, Routers/switches, Cisco IOS/Junos OS, Firewalls, Hubs/Bridges/gateways, Network packet investigation/analysis tools, Database tools. Experience providing highly technical and specialized guidance and solutions to complex IT problems. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations.
