Travel RN - ICUAmerican TravelerOntario, Ohio, United StatesPosition status: OpenAssignment type: travelShift: NightsLength (weeks): 13Openings: 1$2,419.00/week (estimated advertised weekly pay)DescriptionAmerican Traveler is hiring a part-time night shift ICU RN with prior travel experience and at least 2 years of recent ICU experience, requiring willingness to float between hospital campuses.DetailsPart-time position in the ICUNight shift schedule, 2x12 hours (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)Every other weekend (EOW) requiredTypical staffing ratio is 3:1Must be willing to float to other campus ICU units (Bucyrus & Galion) if census dropsOn-call requirement with a 1-hour return-to-facility expectation if called inRequirementsActive OH or Compact RN license required; pending licenses not acceptedBLS and ACLS certifications requiredMinimum 2 years of recent, consecutive ICU experience in a hospital/acute care setting requiredPrior travel nursing experience requiredExperience with medication scanning requiredEpic experience preferredSkilled in cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia management, IV therapy, arterial and central line careExperience titrating cardiac and vasoactive dripsRespiratory/thoracic skills including BiPAP/CPAP management, ventilator patient care, and suctioning (ETT, NT)Knowledge of isolation precautions and PPE useAdditional InformationProvide direct patient care within the ICU across multiple hospital campuses as neededFacility is smoke-freeTime off requests must be submitted at time of consideration, limited to no more than 7 days, and major holidays are excludedIf scheduled to work during requested time off, traveler must arrange coverageMissed shifts must be made upFormer permanent employees must wait at least 6 months before reapplyingLocal candidates accepted at the same bill rateFirst-time travelers will not be considered for this role
