Licensed Practical Nurse

The Radcliff Veteran Center is a skilled nursing facility that cares for the Commonwealth of Kentucky's Veterans. Our mission is to Serve Kentucky's Veterans by fostering independence, preserving dignity and providing compassionate care.

The Licensed Practical Nurse position is responsible for caring for the residents of the Carl M. Brashear Radcliff Veterans Center.

Performs nursing duties under direction of a RN or physician.

Collects assessment data and cares for our veterans within the scope of the LPN clinical skills.

This job requires mandatory COVID 19 vaccination or an approved exemption in accordance with CMS-3415-IFC from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services. This means if appointed to the position, the applicant must have completed the primary vaccination series for COVID-19, which means the administration of a single-dose vaccine or the administration of all required doses of a multi-dose vaccine upon commencement of employment. Proof of vaccination will be required. If a medical or religious exemption is sought, the candidate must submit paperwork to the employer prior to appointment for review and approval.

This position, in org unit 10202457, Hardin county has an approved Locality Premium of $13.20 in compliance with 101 KAR 2:034 Section 9(1).

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING, OR SKILLS: Must be licensed in Kentucky as a practical nurse or must have a valid work permit issued by the Kentucky Board of Nursing.
