Job Description Arizona Early Head Start provides early education for children birth to 3-years-old,parent involvementand family support, and comprehensive health and nutrition education for children. The Lead Teacher is responsible for all aspects of planning, assessing and instructing based on the needs of each child, and the requirements of the program. We want change makers who never stop being curious, inventive, and open-hearted to prepare children for Kindergarten and beyond.
As a Lead Teacher, you’ll:
Develop fun,interactive learning experiences while mentoring fellow Teachers.
Care! Promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the preschool childreninyour class.
Take the lead onclassroom managementand curriculum implementation,plusbe an expert on all licensing guidelines, company standards and Headstart program requirements.
Build sincere relationships with enrolled and prospective families to promote achievement for the child and to support your center’s success.
Associate’s Degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or CDA in Infant/Toddler
The ability to meet state requirements for education and our childcare center requirements.
The ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
