Attorney - Remote Entry Level

Growing Mid Sized Law Firm in the Carlsbad, Ca area has a need for an Associate Attorney. Can be entry level up to 4 years of experience. This is a direct hire opening and can be a hybrid role.

Required Qualifications

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school

Active membership in the California State Bar in good standing

Strong legal research and writing skills, with attention to detail

Exceptional communication and advocacy skills, both verbal and written

Position Overview
As an integral member of our Civil Litigation practice, you will handle a broad spectrum of cases, including contract disputes, personal injury claims, employment matters, and more. From inception to resolution, you will be responsible for conducting legal research, drafting pleadings and motions, managing discovery, and representing clients in court. This role offers an excellent platform for professional growth, collaborating closely with experienced partners and taking on challenging cases.

Responsibilities

Handle a broad spectrum of civil litigation cases, including contract disputes, personal injury claims, employment matters, and more

Conduct legal research, draft pleadings and motions, manage discovery, and represent clients in court from inception to resolution

Collaborate closely with partners and other attorneys to develop case strategy and plan execution

Engage in diverse and intellectually stimulating civil litigation matters, ranging from high‑profile cases to everyday disputes

Sharpen litigation skills and expand legal knowledge across multiple practice areas
