Breakfast Cook Opportunity with Hilton BNAThe Breakfast Cook is responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality breakfast items for hotel guests while maintaining Hilton standards for food quality, cleanliness, and guest satisfaction. This position plays a key role in delivering an exceptional breakfast experience through efficient food preparation, timely service, and adherence to food safety standards.The ideal candidate is reliable, organized, passionate about culinary excellence, and able to thrive in a fast-paced hospitality environment.Essential Functions & ResponsibilitiesPrepare and cook breakfast menu items, including eggs, omelets, breakfast meats, potatoes, pancakes, waffles, pastries, and other breakfast specialties.Ensure all food is prepared according to recipes, portion standards, and presentation guidelines.Monitor food quality, freshness, and appearance throughout service.Maintain proper cooking temperatures and food safety standards.Replenish food stations and buffet offerings as needed during service.Guest ServiceProvide a welcoming and professional guest experience.Accommodate special dietary requests when possible and communicate food allergies or restrictions to leadership.Maintain a positive attitude while interacting with guests and team members.Demonstrate Hilton's commitment to hospitality and guest satisfaction.Kitchen OperationsPrepare ingredients and complete mise en place prior to breakfast service.Assist with inventory control and stock rotation using FIFO (First In, First Out) procedures.Properly receive, store, label, and date food products.Notify management of product shortages or maintenance concerns.Sanitation & SafetyFollow Hilton, Chartwell Hospitality, and local health department food safety regulations.Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized work area at all times.Properly clean and store kitchen equipment, utensils, and workstations.Adhere to all workplace safety policies and procedures.TeamworkSupport other culinary and restaurant team members as business needs require.Assist with banquet, lunch, dinner, or special event preparation when assigned.Participate in team meetings and ongoing training programs.Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.Qualifications RequiredPrevious cooking or food preparation experience preferred.Ability to work early morning shifts, weekends, and holidays.Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment.Strong organizational and time-management skills.Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately.Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.PreferredHotel, restaurant, or breakfast service experience.Food Handler Certification or ability to obtain certification.Experience working in a Hilton or full-service hotel setting.Physical RequirementsAbility to stand and walk for extended periods.Frequently lift and carry up to 50 pounds.Ability to bend, stoop, reach, push, and pull.Ability to work in hot, cold, and fast-paced kitchen environments.Manual dexterity sufficient to safely operate commercial kitchen equipment.Success FactorsConsistently deliver high-quality breakfast offerings.Demonstrate excellent attendance and reliability.Maintain exceptional cleanliness and food safety practices.Support team goals and Hilton's culture of hospitality.Contribute to memorable guest experiences through outstanding food quality and service.Hilton BNA Nashville Airport TerminalAt Hilton BNA, we are committed to creating exceptional experiences for every guest, every stay.
