Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse
Location: Athens, TN
Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule: 07:00 - 19:00
Job Description: The Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse will provide comprehensive nursing care to adult and geriatric patients. The role involves working in a fast-paced environment, where critical thinking and effective communication are essential to ensure high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities:

Deliver patient care for various diagnoses including pneumonia, CVA, post-surgical needs, and DVT.
Administer medications and treatments per clinical protocols.
Monitor and document patients' vital signs and health status.
Collaborate with the healthcare team to formulate and implement care plans.
Educate patients and their families on health management and treatment options.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

Active RN license in Tennessee.
Current ACLS and BLS certifications.
Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in a Medical/Surgical setting.
