Job Description
Registered Nurse - ICU
Schedule
12-hour night shifts; 18:45 - 07:15, with at least 4 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule.
Assignment Details
36 hours can be offered per week. Floating required as needed to Med Surg (1:6 ratio).
Requirements
Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required.
Current ACLS and BCLS certifications are mandatory.
Skills in IV start, telemetry, cardiac telemetry, titration of cardiac drips, use of rapid response teams, feeding tube management, heparin protocols, and PCA.
Experience with ventilated patients and wound care preferred.
Familiarity with EMR systems such as PYXSIS and EPIC is a plus.
Responsibilities
Provide specialized nursing care to critically ill patients.
Monitor and assess patient health status and make necessary interventions.
Administer medications and treatments as per protocols.
Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure high-quality patient care.
Participate in rapid response situations and manage ventilated patients.

Compliance / Notes
Must pass EKG testing prior to start. All missed shifts should be made up within the same week if possible; if not, time should be added to the end of the contract to make up the missed shift.
