Production Welder- Manufacturing

Description Join our dynamic team as a Welding, where you will play a vital role in maintaining the quality and integrity of aerospace magnesium and aluminum castings. This position offers an engaging opportunity to apply your welding expertise in a specialized manufacturing environment, contributing to the production of high-precision aerospace components.
Key Responsibilities Weld repair aerospace magnesium and aluminum castings according to specified standards and procedures
Prepare parts for welding, including cleaning, positioning, and securing components to ensure optimal weld quality
Perform welding tasks, dedicating approximately 20 to 30 hours per week to actual welding activities
Conduct inspections of welded parts to verify quality and adherence to specifications
Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times
Assist with other related duties as assigned to support production and quality assurance processes
Skills and Qualifications Proven experience in welding, particularly with magnesium and aluminum materials
Knowledge of aerospace industry standards and welding techniques
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and welding specifications
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Good manual dexterity and steady hand for precise welding work
Familiarity with safety procedures related to welding and metalworking
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications in welding are preferred

Requirements 2 - 3 years of previous TIG Welding experience (preferred)
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Basic math skills
Ability to read and understand all procedures required to perform assigned tasks
Good communication skills
Completion of Welding coursework/certification
