Cook Full-time Flexible Shift

Valley View Village , a Cassia community, is hiring a Cook to join our culinary team. In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to prepare meals that bring comfort and nourishment to our residents. Whether you’re just starting out or looking to build on your culinary experience, we provide a welcoming environment where you can grow your skills. Our Culinary Department is a close-knit, supportive team that’s highly valued by both residents and staff. Position Type: Full-Time, working a varying schedule including every other weekend

Shift Available:

6:00 am - 2:30 pm & 11:00 am- 7:00 PM (Flex between the shifts)

Deliver exceptional service to residents by leading and motivating team members to provide fast, friendly and excellent customer service to all guests.

Prepare and assist cooking meals to ensure adherence to recipes and quality standards. Work within the department to provide quality and nutritious meals and service to residents.

Help maintain a clean and sanitary culinary department.

Wash dishes and clean the kitchen and dining rooms.

Assist residents, employees, and guests with a broad range of dietary needs.

High School Diploma or Equivalent required.

Prior cooking experience in institutional and/or quantity cooking equivalent preferred but not required. Ability to speak and read English.
