Description:
This position is for a contract RN in the Bone Marrow Transplant outpatient clinic.
The work schedule will be weekdays from 07:00 to 17:00.
There is no call requirement associated with this position.
The unit consists of 15 clinic rooms with a small, close-knit team.
Staffing includes a charge nurse, five RNs, one Patient Care Technician, one scheduler, and one social worker.
Patient ratios are typically between 6 to 8 patients per day.
Key procedures performed include chemotherapy infusions, IVIG, and blood product transfusions.
A strong emphasis on teamwork is expected within the unit.
The dress code requires navy blue scrubs for tops and bottoms.
Candidates with outpatient clinic experience and BMTCN/OCN certifications will be prioritized.
