Cardiac Sonographer/Vascular Sonographer * Weekend Shift

Cardiac Ultrasound Position
Perform diagnostic cardiac ultrasound examinations consisting of: Two-dimensional imaging, spectral and color flow Doppler, m-mode; trans esophageal; exercise and pharmacologic echocardiograms; saline and left ventricular opacification studies on adult patients. Instruction of medical personnel in the technical performance, clinical application, and cardiac pathology as it pertains to cardiac ultrasound. May act as a mentor/preceptor for other Ultrasonographers and/or students.
This is a Cardiac Ultrasound position; only RDCS, ACS, or RCS credential is required.
Qualifications

Required associate's degree or equivalent Graduate of Diagnostic Ultrasound Program or equivalent.
Minimal as gained at student level. Required
CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association Upon Hire required Or
CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross Upon Hire required
CRT-Sonographer (S) - ARDMS American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography EXCLUDE Cardiac 1 Year required
CRT-Breast Sonographer (BS) - ARDMS American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography EXCLUDES Cardiac, General, Vascular 1 Year required
CRT-Abdomen (AB) - ARDMS American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography EXCLUDES Cardiac EXCLUDES Vascular 1 Year required Or
