TravelNurseSource is working with Concentric Healthcare Staffing to find a qualified IMC RN in Hickory, North Carolina, 28601!

Travel RN – Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU)
Contract | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite | Projected Start: June 22, 2026
Provide direct patient care in an Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) setting during night shift hours
Monitor and assess patients requiring a level of care between general medical-surgical and intensive care
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and clinical protocols
Document patient assessments, care provided, and clinical outcomes accurately and in a timely manner
Respond to changes in patient condition and escalate care appropriately as needed
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in North Carolina or compact state eligibility
Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in an IMC, PCU, or Step-Down unit
Ability to work 12-hour night shifts in a fast-paced acute care environment
Must reside 60 or more miles from the facility to qualify for travel rates
Prior travel nursing experience in an intermediate or step-down care setting
Familiarity with cardiac monitoring and telemetry in an IMCU environment
Experience in a large acute care or regional medical center
Work at a large regional medical center home to specialized centers including a Brain Center, Heart Center, Cancer Center, and a Level 3 NICU, offering a rich and diverse clinical environment
