Host and Server Restaurant

Host/Hostess Position
Responsibilities:

Answer the phone and input customers orders into the computer
Add customers and maintain the waitlist
Greet all customers as they enter the restaurant
Seat customers according to the established plan that ensures all waitstaff gets filled tables
Keep front desk and waiting area clean
Ensure takeout menus, retail items, and gift cards remain stocked
Refill paper products in bathrooms, as needed
Help waitstaff by getting water for customers, as needed Requirements:
Able to answer a multi line office telephone
Keen attention to detail in order to track guest reservations
Excellent customer service skills
Friendly and outgoing personality
Experience with electronic reservation system
Follow appropriate food safety guidelines
Able to work a variety of shifts
Able to stand for long periods of time
