Responsibilities

Serve meals to residents according to dietary needs and preferences.

Set up and break down dining areas before and after meals.

Ensure a clean and safe dining environment by following sanitation and safety guidelines.

Maintain a positive and friendly attitude while interacting with residents, guests, and staff.

Communicate effectively with kitchen and dining staff to ensure smooth meal service.

Assist with food preparation as needed, such as plating and assembling meals.

Follow all safety and food handling regulations.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Previous experience in a dining or food service environment is preferred but not required.

Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.

Maintain a positive attitude and effectively communicate with residents, staff, and management.

Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.

Must be able to lift/carry a maximum of 25 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.

Must be able to work around food and cleaning products.

Demonstrate a positive attitude with the ability to follow oral and written instructions, and perform routine, repetitive tasks daily.

Residency within the service area is required.
