Registered Nurse-Educator Ambulatory Care

Role: Nurse Educator in the Cath Lab, responsible for maintaining clinical competence, providing safe patient care, and serving as a clinical resource.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, revise, and evaluate standards of care, protocols, and procedures based on research.

Serve as a role model by utilizing the nursing process to deliver patient care and assist staff in skill development.

Coordinate and evaluate formal education programs, in-service sessions, and staff training on new products and equipment.

Participate in performance improvement, research programs, and data analysis to implement evidence-based interventions.

Mentor staff and students, encouraging participation in research, patient care conferences, and committees.

Conduct rounds to assess patient, family, and staff needs, and communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams.

Assist in maintaining regulatory and professional documentation, and support individualized patient care plans.

Qualifications & Skills

Current FL RN License, BLS required, ACLS preferred.

CNOR certification preferred.

Bachelor's degree in nursing, with a Master's preferred.

Minimum 5 years of clinical specialty experience, including leadership roles.

Additional Duties

Participates in research, documentation review, and regulatory compliance, supporting staff development and quality improvement initiatives.
