Public Health Dental Hygienist (Part-time)

Advancing Public Health: Dedicated Dental Hygienist for Correctional Care The Washington State Department of Corrections is seeking a professional and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will provide essential oral health services to incarcerated individuals, focusing on preventative care, patient education, and clinical excellence. Dental hygienist
Conduct oral health screenings and assist the dentist with charting and documentation.
Provide individualized patient education on oral hygiene and preventative techniques.
Collaborate with the broader facility healthcare team to coordinate patient care.
part-time $39 - $52 per hour

Retirement & Savings: Shift & Schedule
Shift Hours: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM.
A valid and unrestricted license to practice as a Dental Hygienist.
Ability to work effectively within a secure correctional facility.
Prior experience in public health, community clinics, or correctional dentistry.
Documentation: Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) and digital dental charting.
