Shift Prep

We are looking for team players who have the desire to learn about our in-house smoked, made from scratch recipes and wants to serve up Famous Food! You'll also make sure that food safety standards are followed. Famous Dave's expects you to be punctual, to support your fellow Team Members when we are smokin' busy, and complete side duties that include but may not be limited to preparing food, monitor ticket times, and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen.
Operate large-volume cooking equipment such as grills, deep-fat fryers, smokers, ovens, stoves, and dishwashers
Maintain product presentations, product quality and cook time standards
Practice sanitary and safe food handling at all times
Completes assigned daily and weekly cleaning projects
Previous Prep Cook or cooking experience preferred
Capable of using knives, slicing equipment and other food preparation equipment
Reading, writing and verbal communication skills required. Must be able to communicate effectively with other kitchen staff
Mobility required during the entire shift
