REQUIRED PROCEDURES

Required:

ERCP (Diagnostic, Therapeutic, with biopsy, with excision of polyp)
Endoscopic ultrasound (EUS)
Liver biopsy
Insertion/management of Sengstaken/Blakemore tube
Preferred:

Upper GI endoscopy (with biopsy, with foreign body removal, with fulguration of bleeder (cautery vs. laser), With injection of varices, With PEG)
Esophageal dilatation/manometry
Esophageal manometry interpretation
Small Bowel biopsy
Lower GI endoscopy
Sigmoidoscopy (Flexible, Rigid)
Colonoscopy

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Board: Board Certified required Licenses: Active Indiana license, CSR DEA: DEA required Certifications: BLS, ABLS Duties & Responsibilities Provide GI consultations for inpatients and transfers. Manage inpatient GI cases. Perform ERCP procedures as needed. Cover on-call shifts 24 hours/day for seven consecutive days. Collaborate with support staff (APPs and rounding nurse) and GI team.
