Our independent, physician-led emergency medicine group is actively recruiting dedicated physicians to staff four Freestanding Emergency Departments (FSEDs) affiliated with Northwest Texas Healthcare System in Amarillo, Texas. Available Sites – Amarillo Freestanding Emergency Departments
Our group staffs four modern Freestanding Emergency Departments (FSEDs) across Amarillo, offering a variety of practice settings, volumes, and shift structures.
Northwest Emergency on Georgia: 9-bed ED | ~30,000 annual visits | 24-hour physician + 12-hour APP coverage | 4% admission rate | Ambulance receiving with on-site CT, X-ray, and ultrasound.
Northwest Emergency at Town Square: 12-bed ED | ~20,000 annual visits | 24-hour physician + APP support (five days/week) | 4% admission rate | Full imaging and lab services.
Northwest Emergency at Tascosa: New facility opened February 2025 | Full-service FSED with on-site imaging and lab | Flexible 12- or 24-hour shifts.
Northwest Emergency at Eastern: Opening May 2025 | Comprehensive emergency care with imaging and lab | Flexible 12- or 24-hour shifts.
