The Pharmacist position with the Department of Military and Veterans Affairs (DMVA) offers a rewarding opportunity to support the health and dignity of veterans and their spouses at the Southeastern Veterans' Center. This position plays an important role in delivering accurate pharmaceutical services that support resident care at the facility. As a Pharmacist, you will perform the following duties:
Medication Safety: Conduct operations in compliance with federal and state laws and accepted medication handling practices
Inventory Oversight: Manage drug procurement, storage, and periodic inventory reviews to ensure proper control
Prepare, compound, and dispense medications for residents
Profile Evaluation: Review medication histories and report any irregularities to the Chief Pharmacist
Part-time employment, 40 hours bi-weekly
Work hours are 1st shift (8:30 AM to 4:30 PM), with a 30-minute lunch. You will work a rotating schedule and every other weekend.
Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
You must be in possession of a license to practice pharmacy as issued by the Pennsylvania State Board of Pharmacy.

This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act.
