Responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care to residents with medical-surgical needs, including telemetry and telemonitoring when applicable

Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and facility policies; monitor responses and manage adverse effects

Conduct focused assessments, develop and update individualized care plans, document care accurately, and communicate with the interdisciplinary team

Monitor vital signs, IV therapies, wound care, and respiratory status; respond promptly to changes in patient condition and when emergencies arise

Collaborate with physicians, charge nurses, therapists, and families to coordinate timely care, discharge planning, and education

Maintain safety, infection control, and quality-of-care standards in accordance with regulatory requirements

Requirements

Current Registered Nurse license in the State of Washington or active multi-state license

American Heart Association BLS/CPR certification

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification

Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) or educational equivalent

Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC)

Ability to float to other units as needed
