Summary: The Director Region Category Strategy is responsible for driving growth, profitability, and strategic market leadership in a specified product category. This role blends product category management, supplier partnership, and business development leadership. Manage key supplier relationships, including strategic partnerships with manufacturers

Support complex projects by helping customers evaluate solutions, value engineering opportunities, and labor-saving alternatives

Identify opportunities to expand region presence in large project work, datacenter, industrial, and construction segments

Serve as a technical and commercial resource for the field

Identify and pursue new growth opportunities within assigned product category

Help develop and implement a product specialization strategy, supporting both product leadership and customer growth initiatives

Collaborate with Product Management, Strategic Growth team, Operations, and Regional sales leadership

Experience working with electrical distributors, contractors, and manufacturers

Experience supporting large construction or industrial projects

4 Year / Bachelor's Degree - Preferred

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Strong knowledge of relevant products and project-based sales

Strong analytical skills related to pricing, margin management, and inventory strategy

Walk: Must be able to move about inside/outside office or work location - Frequently - 21% to 50%

Operates a computer and other office machinery - Frequently - 21% to 50%

Must be able to crouch down to stock shelves, pick up boxes, or position oneself to maintain computers in the lab/under desks/in server closet - Occasionally - 20%
