Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse
Assignment Duration
This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule
Night shift, 3 - 12 hour shifts, from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in labor and delivery nursing and be comfortable in various roles including labor/induction patients, circulating in the OB-OR, and caring for antepartum patients.
Responsibilities
Provide high-quality nursing care to labor and delivery patients.
Assist with labor induction and monitor patient progress.
Circulate in the operating room for obstetric surgeries as needed.
Support antepartum patients and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
Perform assessments and maintain accurate patient records.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
Minimum of 18 months of recent and permanent Labor and Delivery experience.
MUST HAVE a permanent Ohio nursing license or compact state license in hand.
Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, NRP, and STABLE at the time of submission.
Experience with EPIC Stork is preferred but not required.
One reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty applying for is required for submission.
Completion of ECG rhythm recognition test and Safe Medicate during orientation, with acceptable scores on both assessments required.
