Material Handler AJob DescriptionMaintain proper stock controls by performing manual and clerical tasks involved in receiving, preparation and stocking, issuing, shipping, physical inventory, disposition, control and protection of company and government property. Will operate lift trucks and various gasoline and/or electric powered trucks and trackless trains throughout the factory areas. Performs duties involved in controlling (maintaining, updating, sorting, filing, recording and issuing) various Engineering, technical and military documents. Requires full time standing with limited resting periods and to walk distances. Able to work off of step stools, scissor lifts, lift platforms and aircraft structure without handrails. Work content: Able to use/hold/manipulate small tools and parts with hands. Able to use vibrating tools and perform torqueing operations. Able to use power moving equipment and power moving equipment. Environmental: Able to work around noise, chemicals, fumes and dust. Capable of using respirators and other personal protective equipment including hearing protection if required. Able to work any shift. Vehicles/Power moving equipment: Able to operate equipment or machinery as required. Able to work around heavy equipment and machineryDesired SkillsPrevious inventory or warehouse experience. Material handling experience. Demonstrated computer literacy. Able to operate lift truck and trackless tow tractors.
