Our San Francisco office is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to work in our Structural Engineering team within a growing multidisciplinary team engaged in the design of a variety of building projects, across a number of geographies.

Bay Area Projects:

UCSF Medical Center at Mission Bay

Santa Clara Valley Medical Center Existing Building Rehabilitation

Analyze and design structural elements and systems for steel, concrete, timber and masonry buildings in accordance with building code and design standards.

Perform lateral analyses of structure for seismic and wind loading.

Coordinate work with engineers of other disciplines and with architectural teams and contractors.

Review submittals prepared by contractors and respond to requests for information, perform construction site visits to observe the progress of construction.

Communicate our structural engineering designs to our clients and other stakeholders.

Master’s Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering with a sound knowledge of structural engineering fundamentals as they relate to building systems.

7+ years related experience in structural design and engineering.

Interest and experience in Data Center Design and/or Rail market are preferred.

Extensive knowledge of general analysis and seismic design software (ETABS, SAFE, SAP, etc.)
