American Traveler is seeking an Inpatient Respiratory Therapist with 5+ years of Level 1 trauma critical care experience and RRT certification for a 13-week night shift assignment.

Details

Inpatient respiratory therapy position at a Level 1 trauma facility

Critical care experience required in both MICU and SICU

Night shift schedule, 7p-7:30a, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week

Every other weekend and every other holiday required

Epic EMR experience required

Lung protective ventilation familiarity required

Participation on Code Blue team required

Ability to make ventilator decisions based on patient assessment and lab results

Experience with Level III NICU, Drager XL, and V500 ventilators preferred

Requirements

RRT certification required

MA Respiratory Care license required

BLS certification required

NPS and/or ACCS certifications preferred

Minimum 5+ years of recent experience in a Level 1 trauma facility

Recent critical care experience in both MICU and SICU required

License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Work as part of a critical care team in a high-acuity trauma environment
• Make independent ventilator management decisions based on clinical assessment and lab data
• Participate in Code Blue response team activities
• 50-mile radius rule applies for local versus travel rate eligibility
