Health Care Nurse

Provide specialized wound care nursing services to patients, assessing and managing complex wound conditions to promote healing and prevent complications. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care in a teaching hospital setting.

Implement wound care protocols, including dressing changes, infection control, and debridement as needed.

Monitor patient progress, document wound status, and adjust care plans accordingly.

Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Maintain compliance with facility policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.

Current South Carolina RN license required; pending licenses considered with proof of application.

Minimum of 2 years of recent wound care nursing experience.

Certification in Wound Ostomy Continence Nurse (WOCN) required; pediatrics experience highly preferred.

Ability to float within scope to sister facilities as needed.

Knowledge of Epic electronic health record system preferred.

Opportunity to work in a Magnet, Teaching Hospital with a Level 1 Trauma designation.
