Advocacy Attorney

Job OverviewA law firm seeks a Pre-Suit Attorney for its Richmond, VA office. The successful candidate will manage pre-litigation work, guide clients, and oversee a team of Case Managers, focusing on personal injury cases.

Duties Handle all pre-litigation work daily

Complete Flip-to-Lit approval

Guide clients through the case process

Draft and file pre-litigation documents

Complete TD approval for liability issues

Oversee settlement negotiations and demand packages

Manage the release approval process

Manage a team of 6-10 Case Managers

Drive compliance and KPIs among team

Conduct EUOs, PIP statements, and recorded statements

Requirements Law degree from an accredited law school

Active member in good standing with the VA State Bar Association

2+ years of personal injury experience

Ability to manage a high volume of pre-lit cases

Excellent client service and communication skills

Strong leadership skills

Self-starter driven by long-term career goals

Superior writing and oral advocacy skills

Desire to become part of a trial team

Education Law degree from an accredited institution

Certifications Active membership with the VA State Bar Association
