Part-Time Promoter

Road Supervisor – West Palm Beach, FL

Transdev is seeking a customer service‑oriented professional dedicated to safety to supervise and coordinate bus routes, ensuring compliance with all safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities

Communicate job requirements and responsibilities to drivers.

Day‑to‑day scheduling, counseling, and submitting evaluation reports to local management.

Conduct on‑scene accident investigations and assist drivers in preparing accident reports, OSHA reports, and safety violation documents.

Develop and host driver training and safety courses; train new drivers and retrain drivers involved in accidents.

Observe drivers on the road—correct safety problems on the scene while documenting violations.

Serve as liaison between drivers and both customers and the organization on service concerns.

Evaluate and monitor driver safety and performance in compliance with legal, employment, and labor policy matters.

Assist Safety Manager with DOT/FTA compliance, drug testing and recordkeeping.

Drive routes periodically.

Other duties as required.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED.

Valid Commercial Driver’s License.

Ability to effectively prioritize tasks and manage time.

Excellent verbal, written, and relational communication skills; fluent in English.

Familiarity with basic vehicle mechanical processes and maintenance.

Supervisory experience with hourly employees; 2–3 years transit supervisory experience preferred.

Computer literate—basic knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Willingness to work extended hours regularly, including weekends and nights.

Subject to DOT drug testing and physical if applicable.

Physical Requirements

Must be able to work shifts and flexible work schedules as needed.

Employee will spend long periods sitting, typing, or looking at a computer screen.

Work environment will be a combination of indoors and outdoors.

Benefits

Starting pay $23.54, with yearly increase each April1 and progression to $24.48 within one year.

Vacation: up to14 days per year.

Paid sick leave: 8 hrs/month for full‑time, 5 hrs/month for part‑time.
