As part of our team, you will work alongside a dedicated group of professionals truly making a difference in the health and lives of people in West Florida. We are currently seeking an energetic Sonographer (or Ultrasound Technologist) on a full-time basis. Your tasks and responsibilities as a Sonographer include but are not limited to:

• Prepare and position patients and equipment in a safe, competent manner
• Be responsible for recording and processing ultrasound images
• Maintain statistical results for quality improvement
• Maintain proactive and effective communication with radiologists regarding any unusual clinical findings, history, and/or test results

A two-year Allied Health degree or successful completion of a 12-month CAAHEP approved program

• RVT (Registered Vascular Tech) or ARDMS AB (abdomen specialty) or ARDMS OB/GYN within 1 year
• 1-3 years previous experience as an Ultrasound Technologist
• Other skills needed: organizational, verbal, interpersonal, customer relations, clerical, basic computer, mathematical, analytical, grammar/spelling, reading, comprehension of written instructions, ability to follow verbal instructions
