Job Description Part-Time Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH)
Schedule: Part-time, ~15 hours/week
Saturday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM cst (Potential/as needed)
Balas, DDS, we are a high-quality, long-standing private family dental practice dedicated to exceptional, patient-centered care. With one of our long-term hygienists retiring, we are looking for a skilled, compassionate Registered Dental Hygienist to step into this well-established role.
We believe in quality over quantity: you will see one patient per hour , allowing you the time needed to provide thorough, individualized care without feeling rushed.
Perform comprehensive clinical hygiene duties, including routine cleanings, calculus removal, scaling and root planing (SRP), and fluoride treatments.
Conduct gingivitis screenings, periodontal evaluations, and precise dental charting.
Take digital X-rays and assist with patient assessments.
Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques, preventative care, and treatment plans.
Follow strict infection control, sterilization, and safety protocols to ensure a safe environment.
Active Illinois Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license (Required).
- 2–3 years of clinical hygiene experience preferred.
- Highly competitive hourly pay ($45–$65/hr based on experience).
