Conducting detailed patient evaluations, ordering necessary diagnostic tests, and creating tailored care regimens

Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic health conditions independently, or in collaboration with physicians as warranted by credentialing

Guiding patients and their families on preventive care, wellness, and managing diseases

Prescribing medications and therapies in accordance with your practice authority

Engaging in patient follow-up and managing chronic care

Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams for holistic patient care

Maintaining accurate documentation within electronic medical records (EMR)

Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)

Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Active Nurse Practitioner licensure in Florida

National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or an equivalent specialty

Exceptional communication abilities among patients, families, and healthcare colleagues

Proficiency in EMR systems and ease with telehealth technology
