Responsibilities

• Provide ICU nursing care to critically ill or injured patients
• Monitor patient status, perform ongoing assessments, and respond to changes in condition
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders; manage lines and devices as trained
• Document care accurately in the medical record; communicate changes to the care team
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapy, case management, and other staff to coordinate care
• Ensure patient safety, infection control, and adherence to policies and procedures

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license in Kansas
• BLS certification (American Heart Association) or equivalent
• ACLS certification preferred
• ICU/critical care nursing experience (minimum 1 year) or equivalent
• Ability to work in a hospital setting and partake in a travel assignment
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
