Counselor (Part-time Weekend Evenings)

It is one of the largest housing agencies of its kind in New York State, currently serving approximately 1,300 individuals and families in over 240 locations. Weekend Evening Counselor - Riverhead, NY

Saturday & Sunday, 4:00 p.m. - Weekend Evening)

Documents client assignments and progress.

Monitors the site and coordinates house activities, such as meal preparation, chore activities, recreational activities, and safety checks.

Facilitates the food‑planning committee and trains clients in weekly food planning.

Provides rehabilitative support services in daily living skills, health services, and other assigned duties.

Provides housing services, including assistance with maintenance issues.

Manages medication monitoring.

Performs monthly fire inspections.

Stays current with all agency compliance documents and trainings.

Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent and at least two years of experience in a similar role.

Agency‑sponsored retirement plan and employee‑sponsored 403(b) retirement plan for part‑time employees. Opportunity for educational assistance, scholarship programs, licensure reimbursement, and possible internship/clinical supervision. Referral bonuses available.

Salary: $21.00 per hour.
