### Exciting Opportunity for SICU RN in San Antonio, TX!

• Position: Contract-RN-SICU
• Shift: 7P-7A / 13 weeks
• Location: San Antonio, TX

About the Role:

• Work in the Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU) and engage in a fast-paced, rewarding environment.
• Contribute to patient recovery through advanced medical procedures and critical care nursing.

Unit Highlights:
- Shift Details:

• Shift hours: 7A-7:30P / 7P-7:30A
• Weekend: Rotating
• Guaranteed hours: 36
• Must be available to float as per unit policy

- Required Skills & Experience:

• Minimum 2-3 years ICU experience
• Strong critical thinking skills
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH Stroke Certification

- Preferred Skills:

• Background in MICU & MSICU
• Exposure to IABP and CRRT
• Experience with Meditech

- Key Responsibilities:

• Administer care including chest tubes, intubations, and central lines
• Monitor patient conditions and make critical decisions
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team for optimal patient outcomes

Dress Code:

• Scrub Color: Navy (top & pants) with navy or white scrub jacket
• Clean and healthy nails
• Hair should be neat and clean; no extreme styles or colors
• Beards and facial hair should be well-groomed
• Body art should be covered when possible; visible piercings (other than ears) are prohibited
