Machine Operator

2nd Shift, Monday - Friday 3:30PM - 12:00AM

The Assembler/Machine Operator will perform various tasks as assigned in conjunction with the assembly of our product. You will ensure all parts fit correctly and are suitable for the final product. The Assembler/Machine Operator works under limited supervision, responsible to perform a variety of duties efficiently with high quality results. This position is responsible for safely performing high-level continuous work to quality standards. Perform static and dynamic balancing of rotating assemblies in accordance with established specifications and quality standards.

Assemble machines to customer specifications and blueprints using standard and specialized tools while following required torque specifications.

Operate grinding machines to produce parts within specified tolerances, including diameters requiring accuracy up to 0.0002".

Read, understand, edit, and offset CNC programs by interpreting program code and monitoring machine operation and performance.

Take, verify, and document measurements using appropriate measuring tools to ensure parts meet required specifications.

Safely move, arrange, and handle parts and materials using forklifts, overhead cranes, and walk-behind lifts.

Identify and report quality defects, equipment concerns, and unsafe conditions while following established safety and quality procedures.

Maintain a clean and organized work area, follow established processes, and communicate or ask questions as needed to ensure accurate and safe operations.

CNC experience preferred, manual machining experience may be accepted

Ability to understand and edit CNC programs and make offsets

Proficiency with basic machine shop gauging tools (OD micrometers, snap gauges, height gauges, etc.)

Strong mechanical aptitude

Ability to lift up to 40 lbs throughout the shift

Ability to operate cranes and walk-behind lifts as needed

High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required
