Front Desk Administrative Part Time Position

Description Job Overview:ThePart-Time Administrative Assistantis responsible for the daily activity at the entrance and front desk.Front DeskResponsible for the daily overall functioning of the front desk to ensure that all members and guest are greeted with high-level customer service; Responsible for verifying that each person who enters provides the proper identification and ensures that only active members enter the facility.Answer phones, offering high-level of customer service; Responsible for cash and cash drawer reconciliation during each shift.Assist with training current and new associates.Maintain front desk area by ensuring that trash and debris are picked up and windows are washed and clean.Conduct business at all times with the highest standards of personal, professional and ethical conduct.Perform or assist with any operations as required to maintain workflow and to meet schedules. Notify supervision of unusual equipment or operating problems and the need for additional material and supplies.May participate in any variety of meetings and work groups to integrate activities, communicate issues, obtain approvals, resolve problems and maintain specified level of knowledge pertaining to new developments, requirements, policies, and regulatory guidelines.Follow all policies and Standard Operating Procedures as instructed by Management.Perform any range of special projects, tasks and other related duties as assigned.Skills & Qualifications:Must be able to work a flexible schedule.Strong customer service skills.and be able to respond to customers that may be upset.Strong internal/external customer relation skills required with ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management, associates, members and other stakeholders.Must be able to work various holidays and weekends.Working knowledge of Microsoft Applications.Education & Experience:High school diploma or equivalent.2 years customer service experience.Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Ability to lift, push and move equipment and furniture.Must be able to communicate both on the phone and in person in order to resolve issues related to the business.Must have finger dexterity for typing/using a keyboard.Must be mobile enough to move around the office and during outside events; Ability to work with inside and outside environmental elements (noise, weather, etc.).Ability to work around pool equipment and chemicals.Hours over and above normal office hours will occur, including evenings, holidays, and some weekends.
