Important Note: For Part-Time position, you have to work 2 days in Owen County & 2 days in Bedford

Position Summary: We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Pediatrician to join a community-based outpatient health center in Spencer, Indiana. This role offers a unique opportunity to provide high-quality, comprehensive pediatric care to underserved and diverse patient populations in a collaborative, team-oriented setting. This is a 100% outpatient position with no weekends, evenings, or on-call duties, making it ideal for physicians seeking a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive, outpatient pediatric care in a team-based environment

Maintain a patient load of approximately 18-20 patients per day (full-time)

Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and integrated behavioral health staff

Participate in clinical decision-making and patient-centered care coordination

Utilize EMR systems for accurate and timely documentation

Support quality improvement initiatives and clinical best practices

No weekend, evening, or on-call responsibilities

Maintain compliance with clinical protocols, licensing, and regulatory standards

Qualifications:

M.D. or D.O. from an accredited institution

Completion of an accredited residency program in Pediatrics

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics

Licensed or eligible for licensure in the state of Indiana

Active and unrestricted DEA license (or ability to obtain prior to start)

Interest in working in a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) or similar community health setting
