Part-Time College Ambassador

STEM STUDENT AMBASSADOR - OLIVE-HARVEY COLLEGE

The STEM Student Ambassador program is a leadership opportunity for students who are dedicated to serving and representing Olive-Harvey College, one of the City Colleges of Chicago. The opportunity to lead, organize and plan activities will provide skills which can be utilized in many aspects of the student’s professional and academic career. By participation in the STEM Student Ambassadors Program, students will achieve the following goals and objectives:

The development of team building and communication skills.

Increased networking contacts within the college community and potential mentorship opportunity.

Applicants must have intermediate level of knowledge of computers.

Applicants must have customer service skills.

Applicants must be in “good standing” - no City Colleges of Chicago academic restrictions.

Applicants must not be current Full or Part-time employees of the City Colleges of Chicago.

Provides quality customer service to prospective students through events, campus tours, and other visits.

Maintains inventory of supplies.

Attends training sessions as required.

Maintains order in the room (no profanity, eating and group projects voices low).

Adheres to the City Colleges of Chicago Customer Service Excellence Standards.
