Retail Sales Representative Pennsauken, NJ & New Castle, DE | Full-Time or Part-Time | Commission Opportunity

At American Furniture Rental, Inc. (AFR), we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional service and high-quality furniture solutions. We make homes, businesses, events, and trade shows look their best. We are seeking a Retail Sales Representative to support our Pennsauken, NJ and New Castle, DE Clearance Centers. We are open to full-time or part-time candidates who are flexible and willing to work at both locations.

The selected candidate will have a primary work location but should expect to work at our other Clearance Center approximately two days per week, based on business and staffing needs.

Full-Time: $40,000-$42,000 annually + commission

Part-Time: Competitive hourly rate + commission

Travel support: Based on the candidate's employment arrangement, a car allowance and/or reimbursement for fuel and toll expenses associated with required travel between the Pennsauken and New Castle locations will be included.

The Retail Sales Representative delivers outstanding customer service, supports daily store operations, and helps maintain a clean, organized, and well-merchandised sales floor. This role assists customers throughout the buying process, provides product knowledge, operates the point-of-sale system accurately, and supports inventory and display activities.

Greet customers and assist them throughout the buying process

Build relationships with customers and identify their furniture needs

Provide product knowledge and recommend appropriate furniture solutions

Help drive sales and achieve individual and store sales goals

Accurately operate the point-of-sale system and process customer transactions

Maintain a clean, organized, and attractive showroom

Assist with pricing, merchandising, and furniture displays

Support inventory-related activities as needed

Travel between Pennsauken, NJ and New Castle, DE approximately two days per week, as scheduled

Strong customer service and communication skills

Sales experience preferred, but we are willing to train the right person

Motivated by sales goals and commission opportunities

Flexible schedule and willingness to work at both locations

Reliable transportation and ability to travel between locations as required

Retail, furniture, or customer-facing experience is a plus
